The Studio

A few blocks from the beach, tucked inside a historic building in downtown Ventura, lives the Yes, Sea Studio.

A color-soaked space where creativity is always brewing — paint on the floors, salt in the air, a printer humming non-stop as large-format prints come to life in-house. It smells like ink, ocean, and a little bit like dreams.

This space holds an artist and her craft, and the vision she’s carried for years: to build a creative home big enough to expand from within.

It’s messy. Magical. And always in process.

The Story

I started my shop in 2014 after I had my first son and had moved to a new town. From the nostalgia of missing my old town, I started making prints of the places I loved. Fulfilling my passion to bring joy into people's homes, my collection has grown to over 100 prints and I look forward to making more. I can't wait to see what the future will bring. Thanks for taking this journey with me.

About Daniella Manini

Daniella Manini is a Ventura-based, self-taught artist and designer whose work bridges fashion, retail, interior spaces, and media. With an educational background in advertising and a lifelong devotion to art, her practice moves fluidly across scale and surface—appearing as murals in global retail spaces, original artwork on clothing, and collectible prints inspired by coastal destinations.

Raised in Lima, Peru, very close the Pacific Ocean, Manini developed an early and enduring relationship with the sea. That connection continues to shape her visual language, infusing her work with a sense of wonder, nostalgia, and playful reverence for coastal life. Her style balances whimsy with vintage flair, resulting in fresh, tongue-in-cheek designs that feel both timeless and contemporary.

After moving to California in her mid-twenties, Manini built her career through persistence, curiosity, and a deep love of making—working across graphic design, illustration, and fine art before developing her signature destination-inspired aesthetic. Today, her work reflects a spellbound relationship with the ocean, stars, and sea creatures, drawing inspiration from nature, youth culture, and life as a mother. Through every medium, Manini’s art invites joy, imagination, and a sense of place.
